Haley Behrens

Haley Behrens is an Associate Attorney at Prentice | Long, PC, who recently joined our team of professionals.

Prior to joining Prentice | Long, PC, Ms. Behrens served as a Deputy Public Defender with the Shasta County Public Defender’s Office, where she gained substantial courtroom experience handling a wide range of misdemeanor matters. During her time as a Deputy Public Defender, she regularly appeared in court, advocated for clients at all stages of the criminal process, and gained valuable trial experience, including participation in jury trials.

Education and Activities

Ms. Behrens earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021. During law school, she gained experience in private practice while working as a law clerk at Legacy Legal Group PC, a firm focused on estate planning and probate. Ms. Behrens earned her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston in 2024 and received the CALI Award in Evidence.
