Gretchen Stuhr
Gretchen Stuhr is a senior associate attorney with Prentice Long, PC. Ms. Stuhr currently serves as City Attorney for the City of Willows. Her practice includes land use and planning, CEQA, public works, environmental health, and litigation.
Ms. Stuhr has 16 years of experience working with counties and city governments. Prior to joining Prentice Long, PC, Ms. Stuhr served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Redding, and as Senior Deputy County Counsel for the County of Shasta. Before moving to Redding in 2023, Ms. Stuhr served as County Counsel for the County of Plumas, after having served as Deputy County Counsel for several years prior. Ms. Stuhr also previously served as County Counsel for the County of Del Norte for five years.
Ms. Stuhr has extensive experience in representing public entities, including employment, contracts, land use and planning, public works, and representing boards and commissions in public meetings.
Education and Activities
Ms. Stuhr received her Bachelor of Arts from Adams State College (now University) in 2000. She received her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in 2004.
In her spare time, Ms. Stuhr enjoys spending time outdoors, camping and fishing with her family.
